Crestmoor General Membership Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, January 22, 2025
The 2025 Board and Approximately 40 Members were present:

- Introduction of the Board presented by Ric Lindell, President – (Page 3)
- Crestmoor Bylaws Committee Overview presented by Ric Lindell – (Pages 4-12)
- Election of New Board Member – (Page 13)
- We received communication from three members who were interested in joining the board.
- Two of three decided to join one of the committees instead of a board position.
- Stacy Veasey was presented to the members and a vote was taken in favor of her joining the board as our nineth member.
- Swim Team presented by Jamie Bartkowski (not referenced in the powerpoint)
- Erin Cox will be the Head Coach for the 2025 season and is planning to begin dry land practices in the Spring.
- Information regarding Swim Team will be communicated in the Spring.
- Dues presented by Joy Barnett, Membership – (Pages 14-16)
- No increase in dues the bond remains $250, however we are removing the Seasonal Family $700 option.
- We will continue to use MemberSplash for collecting dues and communication.
- For those who were not members last year and only receiving emails from MailChimp, we will ask that you create an account with MemberSplash so that we can terminate our payment of MailChimp.
- Membership Dues can be paid beginning March 1st and we are working on having the system allow installments instead of one full payment.
- Pool Status presented by Ric Lindell – (Pages 17-21)
- History of the pool, explanation of the leak, comparison of costs and details for repair, remodeling, or replacing the pool along with payment options.
- One amount missing in the presentation: Repair Cost $135,000
- Pool inspectors confirmed that even with the repairs needed, the pool is safe to use, but we can’t ignore the issues.
- Financial Status presented by Michele Zickgraf – (Pages 22-28)
- Going forward, a financial statement will be communicated monthly
- Ric and Michele have met with the accountant to begin the tax filing process, however, there are numerous invoices/receipts that need to be located in order to file the annual taxes
- Ric sent an email to the 2024 board requesting their assistance with locating the documentation and only received one response.
- Of major concern is the $7,900 in cash withdrawals with no documentation to support the withdrawal, except to note it was for start up snack bar.
- Ric spoke with Anthony DelCollo, Esquire for guidance on how to proceed. If we need an attorney to represent Crestmoor, it will cost $325 per hour.
- A motion was made, seconded, and voted on to proceed with charging the $25 maintenance fee. This money will be earmarked for repairs and/or legal fees.
- Michele asked if any members would like to join the Finance Committee to assist with making calls to retrieve invoices from various vendors.
- Meeting adjourned at 9pm
